Smith named OAC Female Field Athlete of the Week
NEW CONCORD, OHIO, April 14, 2008 -
The Ohio Athletic Conference has announced that Muskingum College senior Amanda Smith has been named OAC Field Athlete of the Week.
Smith led the Muskies at the All-Ohio Championships hosted by Ohio Wesleyan University last Saturday by capturing first in the high jump with a season-best leap of 5-03.25. Earlier this season, Smith also captured first at the Muskingum College Invitational with a clearing of 5-02.00.
For the year, Smith is the top-ranked high jumper in the OAC.
