Workforce Recruitment Program
A representative will be on campus Thursday, February 5, 2009, to interview college students with disabilities for summer employment opportunities. Any student with a disability that would like to interview for a summer opportunity should check with Career Services to schedule an interview and pick up an application packet. Program is co-sponsored by the Office of Disability Employment Policy, U.S. Department of Labor and the U.S. Department of Defense.
CareerFest 2009
The career fair will be held in Columbus at the Aladdin Shrine Center on Friday, February 6, 2009 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Pre-registration is required in Career Services. Opportunities available for full time positions and internships. Take plenty of resumes. Interview attire required. Sponsored by The Ohio Foundation of Independent Colleges and its 34 member institutions.
Camp Day
Camp Day will be held on campus on Monday, February 2, 2009, in the Rec Center Atrium from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Representatives from various camps will be seeking students for summer employment as counselors, activity and crafts directors, and to work with people with special needs. Great opportunity to seek out a great experience and to list on your resume.
Marietta/Muskingum Recruiting Consortium
MMRC will be held on campus Thursday, February 26, 2009 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the Rec Center Atrium. Employers will interview students that have been pre-selected from resumes submitted to Career Services through College Central Network (CCN). See Career Services website to submit resume for approval. To register for employers stop by Career Services and select the organizations you wish to have your resume submitted to via the CCN database. This is not a career fair, this is an interview event. Your approved resume and selection of organizations must be done by February 11, 2009 in order to participate.
Cleveland State University Information Session
The Office of Graduate Admissions will host a graduate information session Saturday, February 21, 2009, at 10:00 a.m. in the Dively Auditorium of the College of Urban Affairs, corner of East 17th and Euclid Avenue with free parking corner of East 17th Street and Chester Avenue. 10th Annual Shenandoah Valley Teacher Recruitment Fair

Directory of Teaching Candidates
Education students that would like to be included in the directory need to submit a one page approved resume on plain white paper to Career Services by Monday, March 9. This is a one time opportunity and you will need to be eligible for a teaching position for Fall 2009.

Muskingum participates in the National Association
of Colleges and Employers Salary Survey, a study
surveying placement offices at colleges and universities
throughout the United States.
The survey reports offers, not acceptances, with
no limit on the number of offers per student. In
order for us to provide NACE with accurate information
your cooperation is necessary. Please notify the
Career Services office of every offer you receive,
whether it results from on-campus recruitment or
from your own job search. We have forms which must
be forwarded monthly. |
