Calculating Your GPA

Have you ever wondered how GPA's are calculated? We've added a new page to assist you in Calculating Your GPA, along with a GPA Calculator Utility.

In addition to these pages, we also added a page explaining how to determine what GPA you must earn to Reach a Threshold GPA. This is for students that need to bring their GPA up to a certain level, and need to know what grades they must earn in an upcoming term to reach that desired GPA. Along with the information page, there is also a Threshold GPA Calculator available, though you may want to check out the information page first so you understand what it does.

Advanced Placement Credit

For a list of AP credits accepted at Muskingum College, please visit the Advanced Placement Credit page.

Block Schedule Form

Block schedule forms can come in handy when mapping your course times. Click here to download a blank block schedule to use when scheduling your classes.

Requesting an Audit

In order to receive a graduation audit, you must first complete the Application to Graduate. Once your application form is completed and turned in, we will perform an audit on your records. You will receive your audit via campus mail and your Muskingum e-mail address a few weeks after requesting it. If you have questions about your audit, please e-mail John Sidwell in the Registrar's Office.

Also, please check your Muskingum e-mail frequently. You must have your Muskingum e-mail address to access MuskieLink.

LAE Assessment Plans

As part of the LAE assessment process, certain LAE courses are assessed each semester. If a course is selected for assessment, the faculty member(s) teaching the course assesses the course using an "assessment plan" that has been submitted by the relevant department/program and approved by the Assessment Committee. For more information on the assessment process, and to see a (partial) listing of approved assessment plans, please click here.
