Dr. Law,

I'm living in Lancaster now teaching eighth grade physical science. I'm also coaching the Science Olympiad team composed of 22 seventh, eighth, and ninth graders. We recently scored 3rd out of 25 in the Southeastern / Central Ohio regional tournament. My "Rocks and Minerals" team also scored 3rd place.
We have qualified for the state tournament where the competition is a little more fierce and the tests are a lot more difficult. There is only so much I can do with the specimens we have here.
I was wondering if we could set up a time, possibly a Saturday, in the next couple of weeks when I could bring three or four students to Muskingum to speak with you, and maybe examine a good, college lab-quality rock and mineral collection.

I have been checking out the Geology department web-page and noticed you have field trips scheduled for 4-7, 4-21, and 4-28. If you would be willing to do this, how do you feel about March 31 or April 14?

Thank you much.
-Justin
