For several years now I have been investigating the effects of testosterone administration on vocalization and other psychoaffective brain processes in chicks. I have also begun to utilize immunocytochemical procedures to identify the brain structures mediating complex social behaviors. At the meeting of the Society for Neuroscience the last 5 years I have presented abstracts relating to this work.
