Students choosing to major in Psychology are required to complete 34 hrs of course work which must include the Core courses and one course from each of the four perspectives, one of which must be a lab course (as indicated by *).

2. ADJUNCT PROGRAMS
In addition to a major in psychology, the department supports interdisciplinary majors in Neuroscience and Child and Family Studies, as well as pre-professional programs for students majoring in elementary education who want their (A) Psychology Concentration or their (B) PreKindergarten Validation, or students who are interested in receiving their (C) Secondary Education Certification to teach Sociology and Psychology.
A. Elementary Education with a Psychology Concentration
